Individual Membership
Suitably qualified and experienced teachers may apply for individual membership of ALAP. This confers international recognition on your professional status. There are two types of individual membership:
Member: Open to teachers with professional qualifications, plus 2-years’ relevant experience.
Fellow: Open to teachers with professional qualifications, plus 5- years’ relevant experience, ideally with some of it in Educational Management.
Benefits of Membership
ALAP individual members get a quarterly newsletter containing up-to-date news and views of the international teaching world. This is available via the Members-Only login page on the ALAP website.
ALAP individual membership is an excellent networking platform where like-minded professionals can communicate, exchange news and views and set up face to face meetings locally, nationally and even internationally.
ALAP individual membership serves as a professional exchange so that notification of job postings, relevant TESOL courses and CPD opportunities as well as a forum for the exchange of ideas are all possible.
Fees
Annual fee for Membership is: £50.00 pa

Reduced fees are available for retired teachers or those currently taking full time professional training courses.
